In her ninth season as an assistant coach for the Men and Women's squads is Marisa Galloway, a former high jumper for the Rams who also participated in the sprints and relay teams over her career.

Last year, Gallaway helped Melissa Salerno earned Second Team All-Atlantic 10 honors in both the 800m and 1500m at the outdoor championship while guiding the men's 4x800 relay ro Second Team All-Conference accolades during the indoor season.

In 2007-08, Salerno took home Second Team All-Atlantic 10 honors in the 1000m while in 2006-07, the men's indoor 4x800 relay won the Atlantic 10 title.

Outdoors as a senior Galloway participated in the sprints and high jump. She opened the season by winning the high jump at the Rutgers Invitational, and then placed 12th in the high jump at the Colonial Relays. She also leaped 5' 2" at the Quaker Invitational, the sixth best jump in the Atlantic 10 in 2001. In the sprints, Galloway took third in the 400m at the Omeltchenko Invitational. Galloway capped her senior season in 2001 by placing third in the high jump at the Metropolitan Championships with a leap of 4' 10.5".

Indoors, Galloway registered a season-best jump of 5' 2.25" at the Jasper Invitational, which was the best jump for a Ram and the seventh best high jump in the Atlantic 10. She started the indoor season with a second place finish in the 400m and a third place finish in the high jump at the Ram Invitational and then took second in the high jump at the Fordham Invitational. Galloway also took third in the high jump at the Rutgers Invitational and closed out the indoor season with a fourth place finish at the Atlantic 10 Championships.

In addition to her coaching duties, Galloway has also served as the main recruiter for the track and field and cross country programs.
