The Fordham cross country teams hosted the ECAC/IC4A Cross Country Championship on Saturday at Van Cortlandt Park. The host Rams finished 10th in the women's university race, while the men's were 12th in the university race. In the championship races, Boston College took the women's title, while Duke won the men's championship title. [Full Story]

The Fordham cross country teams made the trek to St. Louis for the 2009 Atlantic 10 Cross Country Championships on Saturday, as the men placed 12th out of 14 teams, while the women were 10th out of 14 squads. The highlight of the day was senior Brigid Moriarty, as she placed sixth overall, becoming only the second Fordham women's runner to earn Cross Country All-Atlantic 10 honors.[Full Story]

Fordham University graduate students Brigid Moriarty and Clifton Hilario were recognized for their athletic and academic accomplishments by being named to the 2009 Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference Team for men's and women's cross country, respectively, in a vote by the conference's Sports Information Directors.[Full Story]

Van Cortlandt Park played host to the 2009 Metropolitan Cross Country Championships this afternoon with Columbia University claiming first place in both the men's and women's competitions. Host Fordham placed fourth out of 14 teams in the women's competition, while the men finished fifth out of 13 teams.[Full Story]

For the second straight week, the Fordham men's cross country team proved to be the team to beat as they followed up their team win at the NYIT Running of the Bears with a first place finish at the 2008 Father Leeber S.J.
