147 Fordham Student-Athletes Named to Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll for the Fall 2012 semester

The Atlantic 10 Conference established a new record for number of student-athletes, with 1,637 earning Commissioner's Honor Roll distinction for the Fall 2012 semester. Among those honored were 147 Fordham University student-athletes, the highest representation among the conference schools, including eight members of the volleyball team. [Full Story]

13 Volleyball Student-Athletes Honored at Tenth Annual Breakfast for Champions

A day after Fordham University recognized some of its finest athletes at the 2013 Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony, the school recognized 345 student-athletes as champions for their academic prowess at the tenth annual Breakfast for Champions in the McGinley Center Ballroom and Lounge, including 13 members of the volleyball program. The Rams in attendance were honored for compiling a 3.00 cumulative GPA or higher at an event sponsored by the Fordham Athletic Department with assistance from the Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) and the Office of Academic Advising. [Full Story]

  • Volleyball Tops Rhode Island in Wild Match on Senior Day

  • Through the first two sets on Saturday afternoon, it sure didn't look as if the Fordham volleyball team would send its two seniors, Michele Keathley and Randi Ewing, off with a victory. However, a funny thing happened on the way to match's end, as Fordham reeled off some of its best play of the season, rallying to win the match over Rhode Island in five sets at the Rose Hill Gym.   • Volleyball's Upset Bid at Duquesne Falls Short

  • The Fordham volleyball team attempted to keep its playoff hopes alive on Sunday, as the Rams took on the Duquesne Dukes at the Palumbo Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Rams opened with a first set win, but Duquesne rebounded to win the match three sets to one. Final set scores were 23-25, 25-22, 25-13, and 25-19.[Full Story]
