The Atlantic 10 today announced the Commissioner's Honor Roll for the Fall 2009 semester, honoring each student-athlete in the Atlantic 10 with a 3.5 grade point average or better. Included on the list were eight members of the Fordham women's track & field/cross country program. [Full Story]

On Saturday, Fordham's Kerri Gallagher qualified for the ECAC Championship finals with the fastest 1000 meter time in the preliminaries while Kevin Fitzgerald qualified for the men's IC4A championship 1000 meters with the second best qualifying time. Today it was reversed, as Fitzgerald won the IC4A 1000 meter title while Gallagher took second in the ECAC 1000m at the ECAC/IC4A Championships. [Full Story]

The Fordham indoor track & field teams began their final competition of the season on Saturday at the 2010 ECAC/IC4A Championships in Boston, Massachusetts. Day one saw two Rams reach the 1,000 meter finals on Sunday, while four season-best times were posted. [Full Story]

Trudging through the winter weather that hit the New York area all day Friday, the Fordham track & field teams still found their way to the Armory Track & Field Center for the NYU FasTrack Invitational. This was the final tune-up for the Rams heading into the ECAC/IC4A Championships on March 6-7 in Boston, Massachusetts.[Full Story]

It was a record-setting day for one Ram at the 2010 Atlantic 10 Indoor Track and Field Championships and a All-Conference day for another as Brian Schmidt won the 800 meters in an Atlantic 10 record time while Kerri Gallagher won one event and took second in another to earn All-Conference accolades on day two of the championships at Rhode Island's Mackel Fieldhouse.[Full Story]

Fordham Athletics Hall of Famer Lauren Gubicza set 12 individual school records in her career which ended in the spring of 1993. That set of records had stood for over 16 years. That is until Friday, when junior Kerri Gallagher broke one of Gubicza's marks in the 800 meters at Boston University's Valentine Invitational.[Full Story]

- 30 Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Student-Athletes Honored at Sixth Annual Breakfast for Champions

On a day when the NFL crowned a champion, Fordham University recognized 275 student-athletes as champions, including 30 members of the women's track & field/cross country program. The Rams in attendance were honored for compiling a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher at the Sixth Annual Breakfast for Champions in the McGinley Center Ballroom.[Full Story]
