Fordham University women's tennis junior Amy Simidian (Carlstadt, N.J./Henry P. Becton Regional) was named First Team All-Atlantic 10 it was announced by the league office today. This marks the second straight season that a Fordham women's tennis player earned All-Conference honors as Mia Fiocca earned the honor last year. [Full Story]

The Fordham University women's tennis team closed out the 2011-12 season with a 4-2 loss to Saint Louis University in the first round of play at the 2012 Atlantic 10 Championship at the Boars Head Sports Club on Thursday. With the loss, the Rams close out the year with a 17-6 record. [Full Story]

The St. John's University women's tennis team hasn't been to Rose Hill in a while and the Fordham squad didn't play good hosts today, defeating the Red Storm, 5-2, on the Hawthorn/Rooney Courts on Senior Day. Prior to the match, Fordham seniors Bethany Boyle and Sarah Tremaine were honored by head coach Bette-Ann Speliotis Liguori and their teammates made sure they were sent off in style. [Full Story]

After having their match at Stony Brook canceled yesterday due to weather, the Fordham University women's tennis team beat the conditions, along with Quinnipiac University, today, shutting out the Bobcats, 7-0, at the QU Outdoor Tennis Courts. The Atlantic 10 Conference announced the Commissioner's Honor Roll for the Fall 2011 semester. A total of 1,359 student-athletes were recognized for their excellence in the classroom during the fall semester.
