99 Fordham Student-Athletes Named to 2009 Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll

Atlantic 10 Commissioner Bernadette V. McGlade today announced the Commissioner's Honor Roll for the Spring 2009 semester, honoring each student-athlete in the Atlantic 10 with a 3.5 grade point average or better. Included on the list were 99 Fordham student-athletes, including five from the women's tennis program. [Full Story]

Dominique Liguori Wins 2009 Hobbs Family Award

As the 2008-09 season begins to wind down, the Fordham University Athletic Department held its 75th annual Block F Awards Dinner at on April 29th to honor the student-athletes for their accomplishments. Among those honored was Dominique Liguori, who received the Claire and Jack Hobbs Award as Fordham's top female student-athlete. [Full Story]

  • Fordham University senior Dominique Liguori (Hartsdale, N.Y./The Ursuline School) was named First Team All-Atlantic 10 in women's tennis, in voting among the Conference's head coaches following the 2009 Atlantic 10 Women's Tennis Championship.   • Dominique Liguori Closes Out Perfect Season with Women's Tennis
  • Fordham senior Dominique Liguori closed out another undefeated singles season with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Dayton's Loni Dickerhoof at the 2009 Atlantic 10 Championship on Saturday afternoon at the Club for Life. Unfortunately, Liguori was the only winner for the tenth-seeded Rams, who fell to the eleventh-seeded Flyers, 4-1. Both teams finished in a ninth place tie at the championship.[Full Story]

  • The Fordham University women's tennis team dropped their final home match of the spring season to St. John's on Monday afternoon by a final score of 6-1. The Rams were to have one more home match on Tuesday against Concordia but that match has been moved to Concordia due to possible poor weather.[Full Story]
