Bronx, N.Y. - Fordham freshman swimmer Kelly Bunster (Bohemia, N.Y./Connetquot) was named Atlantic 10 Women's Swimming Co-Rookie of the Week for the week ending February 1st. This is her first career Atlantic 10 honor.

Bunster joins teammate Courtney Collyer as an Atlantic 10 Rookie of Week award winner this season.

Bunster captured two individual wins in Fordham's 170-109 victory over Massachusetts on Saturday. She placed first in the 50-yard freestyle (24.64) and 100-yard butterfly (58.22) events. She also helped the 200-yard freestyle (1:38.33) and 200-yard medley (1:47.47) relays register event wins in season-best times.

Bunster and the rest of the Fordham swimming & diving teams will next be in action on Wednesday, February 4th, as they host St. Francis College, beginning at 6:00 PM.
