Women's Swimming & Diving Student-Athletes Participate in Sandy Saturday

While most students on campus were sleeping in before heading to Edwards Parade to enjoy one of nicest spring days the semester, about 90 Fordham University student-athletes, including members of the women's swimming and diving program, woke up early and spent some time in the sun of the Rockaways, lending a hand those affected by Hurricane Sandy as part of the university's Sandy Solidarity Project. [Full Story]

  • The NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Committee announced the participants in the 2013 NCAA Division I Women's Championship on Wednesday, which for the second straight year included Fordham's Brienne Ryan (New Windsor, N.Y./Cornwall). The championship will be held March 21-23 at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis. The Indiana Sports Corporation and IUPUI will serve as the co-hosts.[Full Story]

  • 17 Women's Swimming and Diving Student-Athletes Honored at Tenth Annual Breakfast for Champions
  • A day after Fordham University recognized some of its finest athletes at the 2013 Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony, the school recognized 345 student-athletes as champions for their academic prowess at the tenth annual Breakfast for Champions in the McGinley Center Ballroom and Lounge, including 17 members of the women's swimming and diving program. The Rams in attendance were honored for compiling a 3.00 cumulative GPA or higher at an event sponsored by the Fordham Athletic Department with assistance from the Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) and the Office of Academic Advising.[Full Story]

  • The Fordham women's swimming & diving team finished in third place after the final day of competition at the 2013 Atlantic 10 Championship at the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
