Women's Swimming & Diving Student-Athletes Participate in Sandy Saturday

Fordham's Brienne Ryan Invited to NCAA Championship for Second Straight Year
The NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Committee announced the participants in the 2013 NCAA Division I Women's Championship on Wednesday, which for the second straight year included Fordham's Brienne Ryan (New Windsor, N.Y./Cornwall). The championship will be held March 21-23 at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis. The Indiana Sports Corporation and IUPUI will serve as the co-hosts.[Full Story]

147 Fordham Student-Athletes Named to Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll for the Fall 2012 semester
The Atlantic 10 Conference established a new record for number of student-athletes, with 1,637 earning Commissioner's Honor Roll distinction for the Fall 2012 semester. 17 Women's Swimming and Diving Student-Athletes Honored at Tenth Annual Breakfast for Champions
A day after Fordham University recognized some of its finest athletes at the 2013 Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony, the school recognized 345 student-athletes as champions for their academic prowess at the tenth annual Breakfast for Champions in the McGinley Center Ballroom and Lounge, including 17 members of the women's swimming and diving program. The Rams in attendance were honored for compiling a 3.00 cumulative GPA or higher at an event sponsored by the Fordham Athletic Department with assistance from the Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) and the Office of Academic Advising.[Full Story]

Women's Swimming & Diving Finishes Third at the 2013 Atlantic 10 Championship
The Fordham women's swimming & diving team finished in third place after the final day of competition at the 2013 Atlantic 10 Championship at the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio. The exciting night of finals capped the career of a number of seniors, which included Brienne Ryan, who closed with a flurry, winning gold in the 200-yard backstroke in Atlantic 10 and school record time.[Full Story]
