Before Fordham: Four-year varsity softball player at Cranford High School... 2009 First Team All-State and All-Group 2 selection, helping Cranford to the Group 2 Central Jersey Championship... Was the Star Ledger Hitter of the Year as a junior as well as First Team All-State, hitting .629 with 15 home runs, 40 RBI, 36 runs scored, and a 1.435 slugging percentage... Named an Star Ledger First Team All-State athlete as a senior after hitting .403 with 24 RBI, 21 runs, 24 walks and six home runs... Four-time First Team All-Union County and All-Conference selection as well as a two-time First Team All-Group 3 selection (2006 & 2008)... Earned Union County Rookie of the Year honors in 2006... Amassed a .502 career batting average, 129 runs, 116 RBI, and 46 home runs... Played with fellow Ram Chelsea Palumbo on the West Jersey Witches Gold, helping them to the NJ ASA Championship... Member of the National and Math Honor Societies as well as the Honor Roll... Winner of the Bryn Mawr Book and Latin Awards. Personal: Plans to major in Biological Sciences. |
