Assisting Ness Selmani on the bench for the fourth straight season is Casey Sommers. Sommers is no stranger to Fordham Soccer, playing four seasons for the Rams from 1999-2002, serving as team captain in 2001. In four years, she appeared in 61 contests, registering six goals and seven assists. After graduation Sommers played with the Rhode Island Rays WPSL team and continues to play today in the NYWMSL. Outside of Fordham, she is the Head Coach of the NY Magic Super Y U-15 team and has served as a soccer coach at North Carolina Girls Soccer Camp, Soccer Extreme Camps and in the Collegiate Soccer System. Sommers graduated from Fordham in 2003 with a degree in Political Science with a minor in Business. She is currently a paralegal at Cohen & Gresser, LLP, where she oversees deposition and arbitration preparation. |
