Rowing Competes at Fall Metropolitan Championships

The Fordham University women's crew competed in the Fall Metropolitan Championship on October 29 where the Rams made it a clean sweep, winning every event they entered a boat in to win the Metropolitan team title.
In the novice 4, the Rams easily beat Fairfield to the line, covering the 2000m course in a time of 7:22.8, almost seven seconds faster than the Stags.
In the novice 8 race, Fordham again defeated Fairfield with Marist placing third.
The third race of the day was the varsity 4, won by the Rams in a time of 7:01.8, again about seven seconds ahead of Fairfield and almost nine second in front of Marist.
The final event of the day, the varsity 8, was also won by Fordham who clocked a 7:08.6, five second better than second-place Marist and over 20 seconds better than third-place Fairfield.
