99 Fordham Student-Athletes Named to 2009 Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll

Atlantic 10 Commissioner Bernadette V. McGlade today announced the Commissioner's Honor Roll for the Spring 2009 semester, honoring each student-athlete in the Atlantic 10 with a 3.5 grade point average or better. Varsity 8 Wins Second Final at 2009 Dad Vail Championships

The Fordham Univeristy women's crew competed at the prestigious Dad Vail Championship on May 8th and 9th on the Schuylkill River where the varsity 8 took first place in the second final. [Full Story]

  • Fordham University graduate student Sarah Lang was named to the Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference Team in voting conducted among the Conference's sports information directors it was announced today. She becomes the 12th Fordham rower to earn Academic All-Conference honors and extends the Rams' streak to 12 straight years with at least one rower being named to the team.[Full Story]

  • Fordham University graduate student Sarah Lang (New Bedford, Mass./Tabor Academy) was named Second Team All-Atlantic 10 in women's rowing, in voting among the Conference's head coaches following the 2009 Atlantic 10 Women's Rowing Championship.   • The Fordham University women's rowing squad successfully defended its Metropolitan title, defeating 16 other crews at the 2009 Metropolitan Intercollegiate Rowing Association's Spring Championships at Orchard Beach Lagoon on Saturday.
