Women's Lightweight 4 Takes Bronze at IRA National Championships

Fordham's Jennifer Daniels, Caroline Gibbons & Stephanie Narduzzo Named 2008 CRCA National Scholar-Athletes

Fordham University senior Caroline Gibbons (College Point, N.Y./Dominican Academy), junior Jennifer Daniels (White Plains, N.Y./Maria Regina) and sophomore Stephanie Narduzzo (East Amherst, N.Y./East Amherst) were named National Scholar-Athletes by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) it was announced today. The award recognizes student-athletes with a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher that competed in 75 percent of her team's 2008 spring races. [Full Story]

  • Rowing's Caroline Gibbons Receives Fordham's Kieran Award
  • As the 2007-08 season begins to wind down, the Fordham University Athletic Department held its 74th annual Block F Awards Dinner at the Villa Barone Manor on April 30th to honor the Fordham University's student-athletes for their accomplishments in the 2007-08 academic year. Among those honored was rowing's Caroline Gibbons was was the recipient of the 2008 John Kieran Award.[Full Story]

  • Fordham Women's Eight Finish Strong at Dad Vail
  • Fordham's women's varsity and junior varsity eights finished the season with strong performances at the 70th Dad Vail Regatta on May 9-10, the nation's largest collegiate regatta, which included 130 colleges this year. Fordham's varsity rowed four solid races over the two days of the regatta, ultimately capturing eight place overall in a field of 40 Division-I crews.[Full Story]
