Erin Dollard joins the Fordham women's basketball staff for this season as Director of Women's Basketball Operations. Before joining the Women's Basketball staff at Fordham, Dollard served as an Administrator for the Queens College Athletics Department from 2004-07. At Queens, she worked her way up to Assistant Athletics Director. Her duties included enhancing the student-athlete experience at Queens College with different events, fundraisers, and community service projects for the student-athletes to participate in throughout the year. Dollard was also in charge of establishing and running Queens College's first ever Golf & Tennis Classic, to be used as a fundraiser for student-athletic scholarships. By just the second year, the tournament brought in over $120,000 in participation and sponsorships. Other responsibilities over Dollard's four-year tenure at Queens included purchasing for the entire Athletics and Recreation Departments, which included all equipment, apparel, and travel for the twenty varsity teams. In addition, Dollard served as the Advisor for the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), with the purpose of establishing a connection with the institution's SAAC and its student-athletes. She also had her hand in running events such as Athletics Alumni reunions, pep-rallies, food and clothing drives, and coordinating community gatherings at home athletic events. Prior to being on staff, Dollard played for the women's basketball team at Queens. She was a four-year starter, recording over 1000 points, 500 rebounds and 250 assists in her career. She was named to the All-Conference Team in 2000-01 and 2001-02. Dollard received a BA in Economics and Sociology at Queens College in 2004. She has also gone on to complete her Masters of Science Degree in Sports Management at Brooklyn College in 2007. |
