All of them have been on campus for over two weeks for preseason practice. Some have even started their season already. But that didn't stop members of the Fordham University football, volleyball, men's soccer, water polo, cross country and cheerleading squads from spending part of their Sunday standing at the ready outside of the various dorms, helping the incoming freshmen unload their vehicles. The Atlantic 10 announced the Commissioner's Honor Roll for the Spring 2010 semester, honoring each student-athlete in the Atlantic 10 with a 3.5 grade point average or better.Included on the list were 20 members of the Fordham men's cross country/track and field program. [Full Story]

Fordham cross country/track & field head coach Tom Dewey announced the newest additions to the 2010-11 squad today, as 11 players have signed on with the Rams. To date, the list includes six women and five men, who will be at Rose Hill next season. NOTE: Track & field walk-ons will be announced later in the summer. [Full Story]

- Fordham Men's Cross Country Team Honored by NCAA for High Academic Achievement

Eleven Fordham University athletic teams, including men's cross country, were among more than 800 Division I squads to be publicly recognized by the NCAA for their latest Academic Progress Rate (APR) scores, posting multi-year APR scores in the top 10 percent of all squads in their respective sports. - Fordham Men's and Women's Cross Country Teams Receive Academic Team Honors by the USTFCCCA

The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced on Monday that the Fordham University men's and women's cross country teams earned All-Academic Team honors for the 2009 season. The men, with a team GPA of 3.39, are just one of five Atlantic 10 squads to receive the academic honor while the Fordham women, who boast a 3.21 team GPA, are one of six A-10 women's teams on the list.[Full Story]

- 33 Men's Track & Field/Cross Country Student-Athletes Honored at Sixth Annual Breakfast for Champions

On a day when the NFL crowned a champion, Fordham University recognized 275 student-athletes as champions, including 33 members of the men's track & field/cross country program. The Rams in attendance were honored for compiling a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher at the Sixth Annual Breakfast for Champions in the McGinley Center Ballroom.[Full Story]

- Cross Country Hosts ECAC/IC4A Championship

The Fordham cross country teams hosted the ECAC/IC4A Cross Country Championship on Saturday at Van Cortlandt Park. The host Rams finished 10th in the women's university race, while the men's were 12th in the university race. In the championship races, Boston College took the women's title, while Duke won the men's championship title.[Full Story]
