As the 2011-12 season begins to wind down, the Fordham University Athletic Department held its 78th annual Block F Awards Dinner at the Villa Barone Manor on May 2nd to honor Fordham University's student-athletes for their accomplishments during the academic year. [Full Story]

The Atlantic 10 Conference announced the Commissioner's Honor Roll for the Fall 2011 semester. A total of 1,359 student-athletes were recognized for their excellence in the classroom during the fall semester. Among those honored were 122 Fordham University student-athletes, including 19 members of the men's cross country/track and field program. [Full Story]

Five days after the New York Giants football fans feted their team with a victory parade in Manhattan, Fordham University recognized 307 student-athletes as champions at the Ninth Annual Breakfast for Champions in the McGinley Center, including 42 members of the men's track and field/cross country program. - Fordham Men's & Women's Cross Country Earn All-Academic Accolades from the USTFCCCA

The Fordham men's & women's cross country teams were both honored by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) today, as both squads were named to the Division I All-Academic Cross Country Teams for the 2011 season. A total of 352 teams, men and women combined, earned the distinction as a result of a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or better.[Full Story]

- Cross Country Hosts 2011 ECAC/IC4A Championship

The Fordham cross country season came to a conclusion on Saturday, as the Rams once again played host to the ECAC/IC4A Championship at Van Cortlandt Park. A total of six races were held with the Binghamton men and Albany women winning the University Division races, while the Princeton men and Iona women captured the Championship Division titles.[Full Story]

Fordham University junior Julian Saad (Trumbull, Conn./Trumbull) was recognized for his athletic and academic accomplishments by being named to the 2011 Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference Team for cross country in a vote by the conference's Sports Information Directors.[Full Story]

While the northeast dealt with an early winter storm, the Fordham cross country teams traveled to the pleasant weather of Charlotte, N.C., for the 2011 Atlantic 10 Championship on Saturday.
