NCAA East Regional Central | Women's Declared List | Men's Declared List

Indianapolis, Ind. - The NCAA announced the declared athlete list for the East and West Track & Field Regionals this week, and it features three Fordham entries for the Men's and Women's East Regional, hosted at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida, from May 24-26.

Fordham sophomores Sean Collins and David Fajoyomi will be entered in the 400 meter hurdles and high jump events, respectively, in the Men's East Regional, while senior Blair Hassell earned the final spot in the javelin throw in the Women's East Regional.

Collins is seeded 37th in the 400 meter hurdles with a qualifying time of 52.43 seconds, which he ran at this year's Penn Relays. He has had a successful first season at Fordham, after transferring from Northeastern, qualifying for the IC4A Championship in both hurdle events, as well as being a part of the Rams' top 4x400 relay this season.

David Fajoyomi

Fajoyomi is seeded 22nd in the high jump event, as he cleared 7' ½" at the Raleigh Relays, back in March. He had performed well in his first season at Fordham, after transferring from St. Francis College. He won the Atlantic 10 high jump title at the indoor championship, while placing second at the outdoor championship. He also earned All-East honors by taking second in the high jump at the IC4A indoor championship.

Blair Hassell

Hassell posted the final entry mark in the javelin throw in the #48 slot at 141' 10" (43.24m) at the George Mason Season Opener in March. The mark broke her own school record of 136' 4", set in 2011. She became only the third women's field performer to earn All-Conference honors, after taking second place finish in the javelin throw at this year's Atlantic 10 Championship, joining Kerstin Greene (6 times - heptathlon, high jump (twice), long jump, triple jump (twice) and Candice Drinkwater (heptathlon)
