Boston, Mass. - The Fordham track & field team began its final indoor competition of the season on Saturday at the ECAC/IC4A Championship, held at the Reggie Lewis Track & Field Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Fordham had one scorer on day one, as well as two qualifiers for Sunday's finals.

Junior Julian Saad led the way for Fordham, scoring in the 3,000-meter run in sixth place in a school record time of 8:10.66, breaking his own school mark of 8:13.88, set last month.

The Rams also had two men's qualifiers for Sunday's IC4A finals. Senior Kevin Fitzgerald qualified second in the mile run in 4:07.79, while the men's 4x800 relay team, comprised of John Cosgrove, Daniel Green, Michael Rossi, and Ryan Polo, qualified fourth in a season-best time of 7:34.03.
