Was 41st in the season-opening Fordham Fiasco in 26:54.72 (9/10)... Took 48th at the Metropolitan Championship in 27:31 (10/7)... Best finish was fourth at the St. John's Fall Festival 5K Run in 16:41.68 (10/16)... Placed 38th at the IC4A Championship in 27:05 (11/19). Indoor: Named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week once... Won the 3,000 meter run (9:00.2) at the Fordham Season Opener (12/2)... Took second in the 3,000 meter run at the Rutgers Invitational in 9:04.27 (1/7)... Placed 15th in the mile run at the Yale Invitational in 4:24.55 (1/14)... Took fifth at the Charley Torpey Invitational in the 3000 meter run in 8:41.84 (2/4)... Was 10th in the 3,000 meter run at the Atlantic 10 Championship in 8:35.89, while also running a leg of distance medley relay, which finished fourth in 10:13.61 (2/18). Outdoor: Placed sixth in the 3,000 meter steeplechase (9:37.76) at the UVa Team Swashbuckle (3/24)...Was fifth in the 800 meter run (2:02.34) at the FDU Knight Classic (3/31)... Was 11th in the 3,000 meter steeplechase (9:27.68) at the Colonial Relays (4/7)... Finished fourth in the 3,000 meter steeplechase (9:39.15) at the Metropolitan Championship (4/14)... Before Fordham: Three-year varsity cross country & track runner at Xavier High School in Middletown, Connecticut... Team captain for cross country... All-State performer in cross country (2010) and the 3,000 meter steeplechase, in which he was the 2011 State Champion... Named All-Area twice for cross country by The Middletown Press, Hartford Courant, and the New Haven Register Times... Selected All-SCC for cross country twice (2009-10) and indoor track once (4x800 relay)... 2010 All-New England selection for cross country...
