Atlantic 10 Commissioner Bernadette V. McGlade today announced the Commissioner's Honor Roll for the Spring 2009 semester, honoring each student-athlete in the Atlantic 10 with a 3.5 grade point average or better. Included on the list were 99 Fordham student-athletes, including 19 from the men's track & field/cross country program. [Full Story]

The NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championship got underway on Wednesday, as Fordham senior Matt DiBuono (New Rochelle, N.Y./Iona Prep) became the first Ram competitor in over 20 years at the event. DiBuono took on the nation's best in the hammer throw, looking to become Fordham's first All-American in track & field since 2007. [Full Story]

As the lone Fordham competitor, senior Matt DiBuono took on 29 other competitors in the hammer throw event at the NCAA East Regional on Saturday afternoon in Greensboro, North Carolina. - Seven Rams Score on Day Two of 2009 Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track & Field Championships

Matt DiBuono, who won his third straight hammer throw title on day one, and Brian Schmidt led the way on day two for the Rams at the A-10 Championships. Schmidt took third in the 800m in 1:51.82, finishing just 0.27 seconds out of an All-Conference spot. DiBuno scored in the shot put with a fifth place finish, thanks to a season-best toss of 48' 4.5".[Full Story]
