The Fordham men's & women's track & field teams were both honored by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) today, as both squads were named to the Division I All-Academic Track & Field Teams for the 2010 season. A total of 224 teams, men and women combined, earned the distinction as a result of a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or better. [Full Story]

The Atlantic 10 announced the Commissioner's Honor Roll for the Spring 2010 semester, honoring each student-athlete in the Atlantic 10 with a 3.5 grade point average or better.Included on the list were 20 members of the Fordham men's cross country/track and field program. [Full Story]

Fordham cross country/track & field head coach Tom Dewey announced the newest additions to the 2010-11 squad today, as 11 players have signed on with the Rams. To date, the list includes six women and five men, who will be at Rose Hill next season. NOTE: Track & field walk-ons will be announced later in the summer. [Full Story]

Fordham University graduate student Brigid Moriarty, junior Kerri Gallagher and senior John Korevec were recognized for their athletic and academic accomplishments by being named to the 2010 Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference Team for outdoor track and field in a vote by the conference's Sports Information Directors.[Full Story]

- Fordham Men's Track and Field Team Honored by NCAA for High Academic Achievement

Eleven Fordham University athletic teams, including men's track and field, were among more than 800 Division I squads to be publicly recognized by the NCAA for their latest Academic Progress Rate (APR) scores, posting multi-year APR scores in the top 10 percent of all squads in their respective sports. - Track & Field Takes Part in the Rutgers Invitational

The Fordham track & field team had their final opportunity for event qualifiers at the 2010 ECAC/IC4A Championship next week, as the group competed at the Rutgers Invitational in Piscataway, New Jersey on Saturday. Mother Nature however didn't make things easy, as the weather raised up 30 mile per hour winds, hindering all the track event times.[Full Story]
