Atlantic 10 Commissioner Bernadette V. McGlade today announced the Commissioner's Honor Roll for the Spring 2009 semester, honoring each student-athlete in the Atlantic 10 with a 3.5 grade point average or better. Included on the list were 99 Fordham student-athletes, including four from the men's tennis program. [Full Story]

As the 2008-09 season begins to wind down, the Fordham University Athletic Department held its 75th annual Block F Awards Dinner on April 29th to honor the student-athletes for their accomplishments during the academic year. Among those honored was senior Dallas Harting, who was named men's tennis MVP. [Full Story]

Six Fordham University athletic teams, including the men's tennis program, were among more than 800 Division I squads to be publicly recognized by the NCAA for their latest Academic Progress Rate (APR) scores, posting multi-year APR scores in the top 10 percent of all squads in their respective sports. The Fordham Univeristy men's tennis squad closed out their 2009 season with a 4-0 loss to Dayton at the Atlantic 10 Men's Tennis Championship on Saturday at the Club 4 Life. With the loss, the Rams finish in a tie for eleventh place with La Salle at the tournament.[Full Story]

Fordham's Dallas Harting won at second singles over La Salle's Christian Harvey but that would be the only point the Rams would get as Fordham fell to the Explorers, 6-1, on the Hawthorn/Rooney Courts. With the loss, the Rams fall to 5-10 on the year while La Salle improves to 11-10.[Full Story]
