Was fifth in the 100 backstroke (54.69) and sixth in the 200 backstroke (2:01.33) at the Boston College/Williams meet... Placed 13th in the 200 backstroke (1:57.52), 18th in the 100 backstroke (53.84), and 27th overall in the 200 individual medley (2:00.93) at the Bucknell Invitational... Was second in the 100 backstroke versus Fairfield (56.11).

2010-11: Won the 100 backstroke against St. Francis (NY) (55.74) ... Placed fifth in the 200 backstroke (2:03.41) against La Salle... Was 12th overall in the 200 backstroke (2:00.81) and 28th in the 100 backstroke (56.46) at the Frank Elm Invitational... Placed 9th in the 200 backstroke (2:07.14) at the UConn Invitational.

Before Fordham: Swam the backstroke and individual medley for Xavier High School under head coach Keith Nicholas... Two-time All-Conference and All-State selection (2008, 2010)... Won most improved swimmer in 2008 and the senior award in 2010... Part of the school record-setting 400 freestyle relay team... All-Area selection by the Hartford Courant, the Middletown Press, and the New Haven Register... Swam for the SoNoCo club team, where he was an Age Group Champion, a Senior Open Champion, a sectional qualifier and a team record holder in the 200 medley relay.
