As the countdown continues toward the U.S. Olympics Trials, Fordham swimmers Brienne Ryan and Devon Morris traveled to Charlotte, North Carolina, this weekend to compete in the 2012 Charlotte Ultra Swim, a USA Swimming Grand Prix Event, held at the Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center. [Full Story]

As the 2011-12 season begins to wind down, the Fordham University Athletic Department held its 78th annual Block F Awards Dinner at the Villa Barone Manor on May 2nd to honor Fordham University's student-athletes for their accomplishments during the academic year. [Full Story]

The Mid-Major All-American Team selected by CollegeSwimming.com was released this afternoon with three Fordham swimmers among the honorees. Junior Brienne Ryan (New Windsor, N.Y./Cornwall) was named to the women's Mid-Major All-American Team, while senior Courtney Collyer (Staten Island, N.Y./St. Joseph's by the Sea) and junior Devon Morris (Kirkland, Wash./The Bush School) were named Mid-Major Honorable Mention All-America. This is the second straight season that Ryan and Collyer have been acknowledged by CollegeSwimming.com, as both were Honorable Mention selections last season, while being the first time for Morris. Fordham University junior swimmers Brienne Ryan (New Windsor, N.Y./Cornwall) and Devon Morris (Kirkland, Wash./The Bush School) were both selected to the 2011-12 Atlantic 10 Swimming & Diving Academic All-Conference Team, it was announced by the league office. It marks the 13th straight season, that Fordham has been represented on the Atlantic 10's All-Academic Team for swimming & diving.[Full Story]

- 122 Fordham Student-Athletes Named to Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll for the Fall 2011 semester

The Atlantic 10 Conference announced the Commissioner's Honor Roll for the Fall 2011 semester. A total of 1,359 student-athletes were recognized for their excellence in the classroom during the fall semester. Among those honored were 122 Fordham University student-athletes, including five members of the men's swimming and diving program.[Full Story]

The ranks of Fordham University Athletic Hall of Famers grew by eight on Saturday, February 25th, as the Rams inducted the newest class at the annual Hall of Fame Awards Brunch in the McGinley Center. Included among the eight was Maik Wiedenbach from the men's swimming program.[Full Story]

Five days after the New York Giants football fans feted their team with a victory parade in Manhattan, Fordham University recognized 307 student-athletes as champions at the Ninth Annual Breakfast for Champions in the McGinley Center, including 13 members of the men's swimming and diving program.[Full Story]

After four days of competition, the Fordham men's swimming and diving team placed fifth overall at the 2012 Atlantic 10 Championship, held at the Flickinger Center in Buffalo, New York.
