The Atlantic 10 Conference established a new record for number of student-athletes, with 1,637 earning Commissioner's Honor Roll distinction for the Fall 2012 semester. Among those honored were 147 Fordham University student-athletes, the highest representation among the conference schools, including eight members of the men's soccer team. [Full Story]

A day after Fordham University recognized some of its finest athletes at the 2013 Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony, the school recognized 345 student-athletes as champions for their academic prowess at the tenth annual Breakfast for Champions in the McGinley Center Ballroom and Lounge, including 22 members of the men's soccer program. The Rams in attendance were honored for compiling a 3.00 cumulative GPA or higher at an event sponsored by the Fordham Athletic Department with assistance from the Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) and the Office of Academic Advising. The New York Red Bulls have announced that they have named Fordham Athletic Hall of Famer John Wolyniec Reserve Team Coach/Player Development Coordinator. Wolyniec, a former Red Bulls forward, was previously Red Bulls Academy's Under-23 Head Coach.[Full Story]

On Tuesday, February 7th, former Fordham men's soccer coach Frank Schnur will be one of five honorees in the inaugural New York City Soccer Gala event, held at the New York Athletic Club. Schnur will be joined by Coach Dieter Ficken (Columbia), Coach Arnold Ramirez (LIU), Coach Carlo Tramontozzi (St. Francis), and Sunil Gulati, the President of the U.S. Soccer Federation.[Full Story]

- Fordham's Kyle Bitterman Named to Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer All-Rookie Team

Fordham University freshman midfielder Kyle Bitterman (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) was named to the 2012 Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer All-Rookie Team in a voting among the league's coaches it was announced today. He is the second Ram freshman to be honored by the A-10, joining Tim-Jack Murphy, who was named to the All-Rookie team last fall.[Full Story]

- Men's Soccer Closes Out Season with 2-0 Win at St. Bonaventure

After three losses and a tie over the past four games, the 2012 Fordham University men's soccer squad wanted to send its three senior out on a positive note in today's finale at St. Bonaventure University. And thanks to two juniors (Taylor Gulbins and Julian Nagel) and a sophomore (Sean Brailey) the Rams sent the seniors off winners, defeating the Bonnies, 2-0, on the Olean High School Field.[Full Story]

With a chance to help their chances at earning a berth in the upcoming Atlantic 10 championship on the line, the Fordham University men's soccer team needed a win at Duquesne University tonight. But the Rams allowed two first half goals and couldn't get their offense on track as Fordham fell to the Dukes, 3-0, on a rainy Rooney Field.[Full Story]
