147 Fordham Student-Athletes Named to Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll for the Fall 2012 semester

The Atlantic 10 Conference established a new record for number of student-athletes, with 1,637 earning Commissioner's Honor Roll distinction for the Fall 2012 semester. Among those honored were 147 Fordham University student-athletes, the highest representation among the conference schools, including eight members of the men's soccer team. [Full Story]

22 Men's Soccer Student-Athletes Honored at Tenth Annual Breakfast for Champions

A day after Fordham University recognized some of its finest athletes at the 2013 Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony, the school recognized 345 student-athletes as champions for their academic prowess at the tenth annual Breakfast for Champions in the McGinley Center Ballroom and Lounge, including 22 members of the men's soccer program. The Rams in attendance were honored for compiling a 3.00 cumulative GPA or higher at an event sponsored by the Fordham Athletic Department with assistance from the Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) and the Office of Academic Advising. [Full Story]

  • On Tuesday, February 7th, former Fordham men's soccer coach Frank Schnur will be one of five honorees in the inaugural New York City Soccer Gala event, held at the New York Athletic Club.   • Fordham University freshman midfielder Kyle Bitterman (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) was named to the 2012 Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer All-Rookie Team in a voting among the league's coaches it was announced today.   • After three losses and a tie over the past four games, the 2012 Fordham University men's soccer squad wanted to send its three senior out on a positive note in today's finale at St. Bonaventure University.
