Tim Richardson, the 2009 Atlantic 10 Midfielder of the Year

Bronx, N.Y. - Sophomore Tim Richardson (North Palmerston, New Zealand/North Palmerston), a member of the Fordham men's soccer team, is currently in an on-line vote for Soccer News Net's Men's Soccer Player of the Year Award. Fan voting accounts for 40% of the input for the award, and Tim needs your help by going to On-Line Voting Website.

Richardson was named the 2009 Atlantic 10 Midfielder of the Year and First Team All-Atlantic 10 last week in a voting of the Atlantic 10 coaches.

Just the second men's soccer player to earn a major Atlantic 10 award, Richardson led the Rams in scoring with six goals and two assists for 14 points, as well as to the third seed at the Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer Championship.
