As the dog days of summer continue to roll along, today's catch-up focuses on a member of the Fordham golf team, Brody Nieporte, and water polo head coach Bill Harris. Nieporte finished as the runner-up at the LIGA Amateur Championship, this past weekend, while Harris is raising funds for cancer research this Saturday as a part of Swim Across America. [Full Story]

The Atlantic 10 announced the Commissioner's Honor Roll for the Spring 2010 semester, honoring each student-athlete in the Atlantic 10 with a 3.5 grade point average or better. Included on the list were two members of the Fordham golf program. [Full Story]

As the 2009-10 season begins to wind down, the Fordham University Athletic Department held its 76th annual Block F Awards Dinner at the Villa Barone Manor where Jason Del Rosso was named 2009-10 golf MVP. [Full Story]

- Rams Finish Eighth At Atlantic 10 Men's Golf Championships

The Fordham men's golf team improved two more strokes on the third day and final day of the Atlantic 10 Championships hosted by the Mission Inn Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. Fordham finished eighth out of the 12 teams, with a +89 (317-313-311-929), 15 strokes behind seventh-place Rhode Island and six strokes in front of ninth-place Saint Joseph's. Charlotte won the title for the fifth-straight time, finishing with a score of 863, 11 over par (288-281-294).[Full Story]

The Fordham men's golf team moved up two places to eighth after the second round at the Atlantic 10 Golf Championships held at Mission Inn Resort in Howey-In-The-Hills, Fla., on Saturday. After the first round of the Atlantic 10 Men's Golf Championships Fordham is 10th out of 12 teams vying for the 2010 team title. Charlotte is the current leader with a four-stroke lead over Richmond. After Day One of the Northeast Invitational, hosted by University of Rhode Island, the Fordham men's golf team is sitting near the top of the leaderboard, in third place out of 11 teams. The Rams are four shots away from the leader, and host, URI, who have a combined 302 (+18). Sacred Heart is in second place, shooting 20 over.
