On a day when the NFL will crown a champion, Fordham University recognized 275 student-athletes as champions, including seven members of the golf program. The Rams in attendance were honored for compiling a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher at the Sixth Annual Breakfast for Champions in the McGinley Center Ballroom. [Full Story]

The Fordham University golf squad opened play today at the ECAC Championships being contested at the Blue Heron Pines Golf Club in Egg Harbor, N.J. The Rams sit in second place of nine teams after day one of the championships with four golfers among the top eleven in the tournament.[Full Story]

Fordham freshman Jason Del Rosso (Orlando, Fla./Bishop Moore) was named Atlantic 10 Golf Co-Rookie of the Week for the week ending October 4th. It is Del Rosso's second consecutive rookie award, after receiving both the performer and rookie awards last week.[Full Story]

The Fordham golf team played 36 holes on Sunday, as they finished up play at Yale's MacDonald Cup in New Haven, Connecticut. Fordham finished for 14th out of 15 teams, as they were a shot behind Yale "B" for 13th and six behind Temple for 12th.[Full Story]

Fordham freshman Jason Del Rosso (Orlando, Fla./Bishop Moore) was named Atlantic 10 Golf Performer and Rookie of the Week for the week ending September 27th. It is Del Rosso's first career weekly honor and the first for a Ram this season.[Full Story]

- Men's Golf Takes Third at Dartmouth Invitational

After shooting a school-record 67 on the first day of the Dartmouth Invitational, Fordham freshman Jason Del Rosso had the chance to win the tournament today but he saw that chance end on the first playoff hole as Dartmouth's James Pleat tied Del Rosso through two rounds and then scored a par on the first hole to win medalist honors.[Full Story]
