Became a mainstay on the defensive line in 2011... made a pair of tackles in the 2012 Spring Game... helped offset the loss of Justin Yancey on the defensive line last fall... third leading tackler among freshmen on the team in 2011... played high school football with current Fordham teammate Joseph Mizera.

2011: Appeared in all eleven games as a freshman, starting one... made 23 total tackles, 14 solo, on the year... notched 3.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks as well as one pass break up... made a season-high seven tackles, including three solo and one for loss, at Lafayette... recorded three tackles, including two solo and 1.5 sacks, against Bucknell... finished with three solo stops, including one for loss, versus Lehigh... closed out season with three tackles, two solo, against Holy Cross... made two tackles and broke up a pass at Georgetown.

Before Fordham: A graduate of Lincoln-Way East High School in Frankfort, Illinois, where he lettered in football under head coach Rob Zvonar... Honorable Mention All-State Coaches Poll...
