Before Fordham: A graduate of Xaverian High School in Brooklyn... was a four-year member of the football squad, earning three letters... played in the 2007 Outback Steakhouse Empire Challenge... gained 158 rushing yards on 18 carries in leading Xaverian to a 49-27 win over Fordham Prep in the CHSAA AA title game on Coffey Field, Xaverian's first ever championship in the school's 11-year football history... was second in the CHSAA AA in rushing, gaining 1,338 yards on 146 carries with 14 touchdowns... named Second Team All-State Class A by the New York State Sportswriters... two-time Staten Island Advance All-Star...
