2009: Appeared in nine games as a sophomore in 2009, starting five... played both at nose tackle and end... recorded 17 total tackles, seven solo, including 1.5 for loss... made four tackles, three solo, and forced a fumble in the Lehigh game... had four assisted tackles, including one for loss at Lafayette... finished with three solo stops in the win at Cornell.
2008: Appeared in five games as a freshman... made three total tackles, two solo, on the year... recorded a solo tackle in both the Holy Cross and Georgetown games... also appeared with the junior varsity program... had a tackle for loss in a junior varsity win over Columbia... made three solo stops in a junior varsity game with Nassau Community College.
Before Fordham: A graduate of L.D. Bell High School in Hurst, Texas, where he lettered in football and powerlifting... a Second Team All-District selection as a senior... 2007 football team captain... recorded 40 tackles, six for loss, two forced fumbles, and five sacks as a senior... recorded five sacks in seven games as a junior, earning All-District honors... a three-year member of the L.D. Bell Powerlifting team, ranked in the Top Ten in the Dallas/Forth Worth area... a regional qualifier in powerlifting... started his high school career at St. Bernard High School in Poydras, Louisiana, before being relocated to Texas following Hurricane Katrina... earned All-District honors on the offensive line as well as the "Coaches Award" for hard work and dedication as a freshman at St. Bernard... member of Mu Alpha Theta, a mathematics honor society...
