2006: Appeared in nine games as a freshman quarterback, starting seven... completed 74 of 167 passes for 960 yards and six touchdowns... also rushed for 83 yards and one score... closed out season completing 14 of 24 passes for 288 yards and two touchdowns (4 and 48 yards) in the win over Georgetown... connected on 11 of 21 passes for 160 yards and one touchdown (26 yards) and gained 25 yards rushing in the Duquesne game... named Patriot League Rookie of the Week following the Duquesne game... completed ten of 31 passes for 143 yards and one score (22 yards) at Lehigh... in the Marist game, completed six of 19 passes for 105 yards and a touchdown (36 yards) and scored the winning touchdown on a one-yard lunge.
Before Fordham: A graduate of Burges High School in El Paso, Texas, where he lettered with the football, basketball, baseball and track teams... passed for 2,172 yards and 15 touchdowns... starting quarterback in the 2006 All-State Game for the city of El Paso... named First Team All-District 1 (AAAA) and All-City as a senior... named Pre-season Offensive MVP by the El Paso Times... earned All-City and All-District accolades in basketball as well as making the All-Region Team... named All-City and All-District in baseball in 2006... earned All-District honors in baseball for four years at four different positions.
