Picked up valuable experience in 2009 at linebacker after seeing limited varsity action in 2008... will vie for playing time at middle linebacker in 2010... moved from the defensive backfield to linebacker in 2008...did not see varsity action in 2007. 2009: Appeared in nine games as a junior in 2009... recorded two tackles on the year, including one sack which occurred in the Bryant game... also had a stop in the season finale at Georgetown. 2008: Appeared in three varsity games as a sophomore... registered one pass break up... also saw time with the junior varsity... made two tackles in a junior varsity win over Columbia and three, one solo, in a JV game versus Nassau Community College. 2007: Did not see varsity action as a freshman. Before Fordham: A graduate of East Hall High School in Gainesville, Georgia, where he lettered in football and basketball... earned three varsity letters in basketball and two in football. Personal: Son of Sonia Bell and Ernest Jackson... has one brother, Marquez, who played football at the University of Hawaii... a Computer Science major. |
