On a day when the NFL will crown a champion, Fordham University recognized 275 student-athletes as champions, including 21 members of the football program. The Rams in attendance were honored for compiling a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher at the Sixth Annual Breakfast for Champions in the McGinley Center Ballroom. [Full Story]

Fordham University senior quarterback John Skelton has been invited to participate in the 2010 NFL Scouting Combine from February 24th through March 2nd in Indianapolis, Indiana, it was announced today. The All-America honors are piling up for Fordham University senior wider receiver Jason Caldwell (Baltimore, Md./St. Paul's). His most recent honor was being named Championship Subdivision (FCS) Honorable Mention All-America by the College Sporting News on December 29th. He previously was named Second Team FCS All-America by The Sports Network and Third Team Associated Press FCS All-America last week. Caldwell also was named to the ECAC FCS All-Star Team and First Team All-Patriot League.[Full Story]

Fordham University senior wider receiver Jason Caldwell was named Third Team Associated Press Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) All-America team, announced on Wednesday. In addition, Caldwell, who is the first Ram to earn Associated Press All-American honors since punter Ben Dato in 2007, was also named to the ECAC FCS All-Star Team, where he is joined by senior offensive lineman Andrew Tyshovnytsky on the squad.[Full Story]
