Fordham University junior forward Chris Gaston has been invited to try out for the Puerto Rican National Team last week and will be off to the island as soon as he completes finals next week. He hopes to land a position on the team that will compete in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London this summer. [Full Story]

The annual Tom Pecora Basketball School will be held this year from August 6-17th at Long Island Lutheran High School in Brookville, N.Y., where boys entering grades four through twelve are welcome to join the Fordham head coach and his staff to improve their basketball skills.[Full Story]

Fordham University junior forward Chris Gaston (Union City, N.J./St. Anthony) was named Second Team All-Atlantic 10 in a vote of the conference coaches it was announced today. This marks the third straight season that Gaston, who was also named Preseason All-Atlantic 10, has earned Atlantic 10 postseason honors. Last year, he was named Honorable Mention All-Atlantic 10 while in 2010 he was named A-10 Rookie of the Year and to the All-Rookie Team.[Full Story]
