2008: Made 13 appearances as a junior, starting eight games... Finished the year with a 3-2 record to go with a 5.15 ERA and 38 strikeouts in 43.2 innings... Opened the year giving up two runs in five innings at UNC-Wilmington (3/2)... Allowed one run on one hit in five innings against Fairleigh Dickinson (3/9)... Recorded his first win against Sacred Heart, giving up one unearned run with a career-high 10 strikeouts (3/15)... Got the win against St. Bonaventure, throwing 6.1 innings and striking out five batters (3/22)... Struck out five batters in four innings of work at Saint Joseph's (4/5)... Pitched two scoreless innings of relief against Iona (4/22)... Got the win in relief at Temple, allowing two runs in four innings of work (4/27).

Before Fordham: Four-year varsity baseball player at the Beacon High School... Four-time team MVP and a three-year captain... Was a Second Team All-City selection by Newsday in 2005... Hit .455 (20-44) with seven stolen bases as a junior, while on the mound he registered a record of 4-3 with a 2.00 ERA and 61 strikeouts in 42 innings pitched... Played previously at the Dwight School, where he was a Second Team All-Manhattan pick by The Daily News in 2002 and the regular season MVP of the PSAA in 2003.
