Before Fordham: Transferred to Fordham after one year at Manhattan College... Three-year varsity player at Farmington High School...Served as team captain during senior year...Named All-Conference, Northwest Conference All-Academic and Team MVP while earning a spot on the Connecticut All-Star Team during senior year...Led team in wins, strikeouts, innings pitched and games started in senior campaign... Batted .403 as a senior, while leading the team in RBI, home runs, doubles, runs scored, and stolen bases... Hurled a complete game, two-hit shutout in First Round of State Playoffs as a senior... Named All-Conference as a sophomore... Named to his high school honor roll all four years... Played for Team Connecticut Baseball, and received the team's Golden Arm Award during the summer of 2006.
