Became one of the Rams' most reliable relievers as a freshman, appearing in 21 games... Team leader in ERA in his first season... Flexible pitcher that can also play in the infield... Came to Fordham from a nationally ranked high school program, Jupiter High School. 2009: Made the second most appearances on the team in rookie season with 21, three of which were starts... Held the lowest ERA on the team at 4.47... Pitched 44.1 innings with 21 strikeouts... Held a 2-2 record with two saves... Gave up only two runs, one earned, while striking out a season-high four batters in five innings in first collegiate start against NYIT (3/11)... Went four innings in three appearances without giving up a run (3/15-20)... Earned first collegiate save with 1.1 innings of one-run, two-hit work at Charlotte (3/22)... Threw a perfect inning of relief against Massachusetts for his second save of the year (3/28)... Earned first collegiate win with four relief innings, surrendering one run and scattering four hits versus Iona (3/21)... Took the win with 1.2 innings out of the bullpen while giving up only one hit to Richmond (5/10). Before Fordham: Varsity baseball player at Jupiter High School in Florida, which was nationally ranked in 2007... Earned All-Conference honors in 2007 & 2008... Earned All-County and All-Area honors as a senior... Selected to the Dick Howser Palm Beach County All-Star Team after hitting .404 as a senior, while also posting a 0.86 ERA as a pitcher... Listed as a top high school player for the class of 2008 by PG Cross Checker... Member of the National Honor Society, as well as the National English and History Honor Societies...
