2013: Made an immediate impact, starting all 53 games he played in at either catcher or designated hitter... Hit .264 with 21 runs scored and seven doubles... Led the Rams with five triples and 31 RBI... Set the Fordham single season record with 21 hit by pitches, breaking the old mark of 17 by Bobby Sprague in 1999... Recorded 11 multi-hit games and a team-high nine multi-RBI contests... Named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week once... Had his first multi-hit game against Michigan, going 2-for-4 with a triple, two runs scored and three RBI (2/23)... Ripped a pair of doubles versus Lehigh (3/2)... Was a perfect 4-for-4 with a triple and an RBI against New York Tech (3/13)... Followed that by going 3-for-4 with three runs scored, two triples, and an RBI versus NJIT (3/15)... Drove in a season-high four runs against Rutgers, going 2-for-6 with a double (4/9)... Collected two hits and two RBI in the second game against Columbia (4/24)... Was 3-for-7 with two RBI at Massachusetts (5/5)... Finished the season by hitting safely in 13 of the last 15 games of the season, while reaching base in each of the final 23 games of the year.

Before Fordham: Three-year starting catcher for the varsity baseball team at Commack High School... Drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 36th round of the 2012 MLB First Year Player Draft right out of high school... All-County and All-League selection after an outstanding junior campaign, which saw him receive Commack's Male Athlete of the Year Award... Hit .410 with a .776 slugging percentage, an on-base percentage of .515, 13 doubles, and five home runs... Was selected to the Bobby Valentine All-American Team, the Under Armour National Baseball Team, and the Philadelphia Phillies Dominican Republic Scout Team... Received All-League and All-County honors once again as a senior, helping Commack to the Class AA League 1 Championship.
