2008: Made just five appearances as a sophomore, making one start... Was 0-1 on the season, pitching just 3.2 innings... Recorded a season-high three strikeouts against Fairleigh Dickinson (3/8)... Longest outing came against Stony Brook, where he gave up three earned runs in 1.2 innings of relief (3/26). 2007: Had a productive freshman campaign, making 12 appearances and six starts... Posted a 2-3 record with a 4.42 ERA and 24 strikeouts in 36.2 innings pitched... Picked up his first collegiate win against NJIT, pitching five innings of one-hit ball with six strikeouts (4/10)... Registered his other win against Iona, allowing just one unearned run and four hits in six innings (4/24)... Allowed two hits in four innings of relief against Manhattan (5/1). Before Fordham: Four-year varsity baseball player at Daniel Hand High School... Four-year starter... Named to the All-State and All-Hammonassett Division teams as a junior... Was a senior All-Star in the CIAC Conference his final season... Served as team captain... Also played three years of varsity football... Helped Daniel Hand to three State Championships, and was named to the All-State team as a linebacker... Member of the Honor Roll all four years of high school.
