Men’s Track and Field Competes at Yale Invitational

Nicholas Regan wins javelin competition

New Haven, Conn. – Three members of the Fordham University men's outdoor track and field team traveled up to Yale University on Sunday to compete in the Yale Spring Invitational. Nicholas Regan was the top Fordham finisher, winning the javelin competition.
 
Regan won the javelin throw with a toss of 169' 9", more than two feet better than runner up Andrew Berghorn.
 
Also competing for the Rams were Ryan Riviere, who took second in the pole vault with a vault of 14' 1.75", six inches behind the winner Giuseppe DeLucia of Sacred Heart, and Andre Guthrie, Jr., who was 15th in the 100m in 11.99.
 
The Fordham outdoor track and field squads return to action on Saturday and Sunday, May 7 and 8, as they compete at the 2016 Atlantic 10 Championships at George Mason University.
