Jessie Frasier Named Assistant Director of Basketball Operations

Former Ram Returns to Fordham Two Years After Graduating

BRONX, N.Y. -- Former Fordham women's basketball player Jessie Frasier is the program's new assistant director of basketball operations, it was announced Monday by head coach Stephanie Gaitley.

Frasier was a member of the women's basketball teams during her freshman and sophomore seasons but never saw the court because of injuries. After working in the equipment room as a junior, she rejoined the women's basketball program to work as a manager in her senior year. The Margate City, N.J. native graduated from Fordham in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in psychology.

"I remember recruiting Jess when she was at Holy Spirit High school," Gaitley said. "Our paths reconnected when she was a senior at Fordham. Due to a knee injury, Jess was a student-manager for us. She is a bright young lady with terrific people skills and a high-basketball IQ. I am excited to challenge Jess to help us in many different aspects of our program. She will be a valuable asset as we continue to strive to be an elite program in the Atlantic 10."

The Rams open the season Sunday, Nov. 15 when they travel to University Park, Pa. to take on Penn State.
