The Fordham University football Rams, ranked eighth in the latest NCAA FCS Coaches poll and ninth in the Sports Network NCAA FCS poll, continue their 2013 Patriot League season as they host the Holy Cross Crusaders on Jack Coffey Field on Saturday, November 2, at 1:00 p.m.

The Rams (8-0) enter the game after a 52-31 win at Yale University on October 19, while Holy Cross (3-6, 1-2) enters the contest after falling to Lafayette, 41-23, in Worcester last week.

The game will be for the Ram-Crusader Cup, a trophy the two teams have been battling for since 1951.

The Rams, who are 8-0 for the first time in school history, will be led into the game by junior quarterback
Mike Nebrich and junior wide receiver
Sam Ajala. Against Yale, Ajala set a school record with 282 receiving yards (on ten catches) and he tied a school mark with four scores. Nebrich completed 19 of 26 passes in the game for 421 yards and four scores, coming up just six yards shy of tying the school record for passing yards in a game.

Nebrich leads the NCAA FCS in completion percentage, making good on 74.1% of his pass attempts, and is second in the nation in total offense, averaging 373.8 yards/game.

Also leading the Rams into the game will be junior linebacker
Stephen Hodge who made a career-high 14 tackles at Yale, 13 solo. He leads the NCAA FCS in solo tackles/game (7.0).

This will be the 51
st meeting between Fordham and Holy Cross on the gridiron with the Crusaders leading the all-time series, which started in 1902, 27-21-2. Fordham won last year's meeting in Worcester, 36-32, on October 27 as
Ryan Higgins completed 38 of 56 passes for 407 yards and one touchdown,
Carlton Koonce rushed for 175 yards and two scores and
Patrick Murray booted three field goals.
