The Fordham men's soccer team opened their 2010 season in front a strong crowd at Jack Coffey Field, and out shot the Adelphi Panthers, 14-9, and had a number of good scoring chances. However, the Panthers' Sam Vanaria netted the only goal of the game at the 106:51 mark of overtime, as Adelphi knocked off Fordham, 1-0, on Wednesday night. [Full Story]

Fordham's Christi Griffiths & Sara Konkel Earn Atlantic 10 Volleyball Weekly Honors

Fordham University's senior middle hitter Christi Griffiths (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) and freshman setter Sara Konkel (Elk Grove, Calif./Pleasant Grove) received Atlantic 10 weekly volleyball honors, it was announced on Tuesday.   • Women's Soccer Knocks Off Manhattan in Overtime for 3-0 Start
  • After two goals in the first 1:13 of the game, it took another 104 minutes to find the game-winner in the soccer match-up between Fordham and Manhattan. The two crosstown rivals played even at 1-1 until the 105th minute, when Fordham's Mariella Romano headed in a cross from Katie McDermott to give the Rams a 2-1 overtime win over the Jaspers at Jack Coffey Field.
