A graduate of Fordham from the class of 1934, Walter Davinis makes this University proud to call him an alumnus. A football standout, Walter then known by the last name Uzdavinis, played tackle for two of Fordham's finest coaches: Frank Cavanaugh and Jim Crowley. During his playing days, Walter earned such honors as: 1932 Associated Press All-Eastern Team, 1932 Catholic College All-American Team, 1932 and 1933 All-Met Team by the World Telegram.
