Joseph Zapustas was a two-sport star for the Rams on the gridiron and the diamond.
For baseball, he played from 1931 to 1933, playing in 49 games. He totaled 54 runs scored, 57 hits, and 22 extra-base hits, which included 10 home runs.
A career .289 hitter, he hit over .300 in two of his three seasons at Rose Hill in 1931 (.304) and 1933 (.308).
