One of the top players that Fordham has sent to the major leagues, Normand Young was a slugging first-baseman on the Ram baseball team for three years and was team captain in 1936. Signed by the New York Giants soon after graduation, he spent two years in the minors, then was the Giants' first-baseman for five seasons and later played with Cincinnati and St. Louis. |
