Phil Sallustio joined the Fordham Athletics Staff during the spring of 2008 as the Rams' new equipment manager. Aside from his equipment manager duties, Sallustio is also a college basketball official. He has been an official for 25 years, 20 of them at the Division I level. He is also the supervisor of basketball officials for the Catholic High School Athletic Association (CHSAA). Prior to Fordham, Sallustio worked for the Port Authority in the purchasing and procurement department for 33 years before retiring last year. Before joining the Port Authority, he was a physical education teacher in the Bronx for two years. Sallustio received an associate's degree from Long Island University, where he played both baseball and basketball. |
