As quarterback of the 1940-41 Fordham football squads, Jim Noble helped guide the Rams to appearances in the Cotton Bowl against Texas A&M and a Sugar Bowl victory over Missouri the following season. In 1940, he returned a punt 80 yards for a touchdown in a 26-0 victory over Arkansas. He later served as an assistant to Fordham head coach Ed Danowski in 1946 and 47. |
