10/18/2011 Fordham University Announces Athletic Department PromotionsFour Athletic Department Staffers Receive Promotions Scott Kwiatkowski begins his 12th year with the Fordham Sports Information Office, his second as the Associate Sports Information Director, after serving as an assistant sports information director the first ten. Kwiatkowski is the primary contact for volleyball, women's soccer, water polo, cross country/track & field, swimming & diving, squash, and baseball. He also serves as the main contact for video content. Kwiatkowski is a member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and has worked an official statistician for New York area colleges, as well as for the New York Dragons (Arena Football), the Westchester Wildfire (USBL), and the WNBA Pre-Draft Camp. Kwiatkowski graduated from Fordham University in 2001 with a bachelor's degree in Communications & Media Studies. During his undergraduate time, he interned for ABC Sports Radio in the fall of 2000, served as a freelance writer for newspapers, such as The Telegram Gazette in Worcester, Massachusetts, and worked at the 2001 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. Most recently, Kwiatkowski was the recipient of the 2008 Jack Coffey Award, which is presented to a Fordham administrator, alumnus, or coach for outstanding contributions and dedication to the athletic program. He was also named the CWPA Northern Division SID of the Year twice for the 2010 and 2011 seasons. |
