Probably Fordham's greatest passing quarterback, Roger Franz led the nation in yards passing in 1953. Often hooking up with wide receiver Ed Brown, a 1978 inductee, Franz was selected All-East, All Catholic, All-American and Honorable Mention All-American in 1953. Roger also participated in the 1954 Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama. |
