Mary Cunneen arrived at Fordham in November of 2010 when she assumed the role of Coordinator of Facilities and Event Operations and was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Event Management in October of 2011.

Cunneen oversees the departments of event management and athletic facilities, serving as the managing director for daily facilities operations for the athletic department. This includes daily management, personnel supervision for the facilities, special event direction as well as project oversight on athletic department construction projects. Serving as Championship Director for the 2012 Atlantic 10 Baseball Tournament hosted here at Fordham University.

As the Coordinator of Facilities, Cunneen was responsible for serving as site coordinator for all home athletic events to ensure compliance with both Atlantic 10 and NCAA regulations as well as perform the logistical planning for each event and day-to-day operations.

Prior to coming to Fordham, Cunneen was a Graduate Assistant at St. John's University where she aided in the event planning and management of all athletic events and was the on-site contact for Big East home games at venues which included Carnesecca Arena, Jack Kaiser Stadium and Belson Stadium. She was responsible for managing game day event staff and updating and distributing visiting team guides. Cunneen also facilitated NCAA First Round and Quarterfinal Men's Soccer, WNIT Women's Basketball First Round, Big East Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships, NCAA First Round Women's Volleyball.

A 2008 graduate of St. John's University with a degree in Sports Management and a minor in Business, Cunneen also received an MBA in Marketing from the school in 2010.
