College Football Performance Awards, the largest awards organization in D-I college football, recently announced its watch list for the 2013 CFPA FCS Wide Receiver Award, and Fordham wide receiver Brian Wetzel (Dallas, Tex./Jesuit College Prep) earned a spot on the list. The NCAA announced the declared athlete list for the East and West Track & Field Regionals this week, and it features 13 Atlantic 10 schools being entered into the Men's and Women's East Regional, hosted at North Carolina A & T State University in Greensboro, N.C., from May 23-25. Finals are over which means it's time to for the Fordham University students to head home for summer break, a time when students take on summer jobs, reunite with hometown friends and maybe take a dip in the lake. For Fordham freshman Steve Sholdra (Renton, Wash./H.B. Education (Wash.)) that dip in the lake came early as he competed in the 2013 USA Swimming Open Water National Championships in Castaic Lake, California, where he finished 15th in the 5K race and 17th in the 10K.[Full Story]
